Caregiver assistance with ADL’s – Activities associated with Daily Living. ADL’s are bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation and feeding. Our home health aides, nursing assistants and certified nursing assistants can assist you with all your ADL’s as needed.

Many veterans and surviving spouses are in need of assistance at home with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation and personal hygiene. Sadly enough, so many of these individuals simply can’t afford the help needed to stay safe and independent at home. The “good news” is they may be eligible for a special pension from the Veteran’s Administration. The Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension will pay for in home assistance for those who qualify.
Horizon Nursing Services is pleased to provide our complimentary Care Coordination services. We understand the difficulty and time consumption that occurs when trying to arrange in-home care. We also know that sometimes clients and families are not aware of the various types of services that can be provided in the comfort of their own home.
Living out of State and not being able to be there for our parents as they fell ill was very difficult. Being able to call Horizon and have your staff be there at any hour to care for them and quickly become their extended family was amazingly comforting.
