Q: What is a nurse registry?
A: A nurse registry is
licensed by the state to provide nursing services to health care facilities and
private individuals on a contractual basis.
Q: Do I have to be in my own home to get private duty
nursing services?
A: No, services can be
provided to you in a private home, hospital, nursing home, assisted living
facility or independent living facility
Q: What is the cost for your nursing services?
A: Rates for caregiver
services vary depending on the type of caregiver requested and the level of care
needed to meet your specific needs. Actual cost can only be determined after
an assessment of your needs.
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: We accept long term care
insurance plans that cover home health care
services, checks and credit card payments. We will accept an assignment of benefit for
your long term care insurance policy and we will bill them directly.
Q: How much notice do
I have to give in order to get services?
A: We have been able to
provide caregivers to clients in emergency situations within a few hours however
24-48 hours notice would be preferable.
Q. What if I am not satisfied with the caregiver you
sent me?
A. If for any reason you are
dissatisfied with the assigned caregiver, please contact our office immediately
at (561) 432-1932 so we may replace the caregiver. Your safety and
satisfaction is our #1 priority.
Q: How do I contact you after your normal business
hours?
A: Horizon Nursing has staff on call 24hrs per day. You may contact us by
calling our main number which is (561) 432-1932, if we are away from the phone
please leave a detailed message with a contact number and your call will be
answered promptly. |
